Mr. Huggins passed away in December, 1984 at the age of  69.

Mr. Huggins was a former Assistant Principal of Howard High School in Nashville. Services were conducted at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens on December 31, 1984.

He was a Teacher and Athletic Coach at Clarksville High School in 1937 and 1938. He later became Assistant Principal at Howard School and was principal of Woodbine Elementary School from 1970 until his retirement in 1981.

Mr. Huggins was also a Sunday School Teacher at West End Methodist Church.
