Mrs. Amie L.
Dennison passed away February 21, 1985.
She taught the Sight-saving class at Howard for over twenty
years. When the school
closed, Mrs. Dennison moved to Louisville, Kentucky and developed a
library at the American Printing House for the Blind.
After retiring there in about 1979, she and her husband
returned to Nashville. Mrs. Dennison
gave tirelessly and unselfishly to Howard School and to the many
students who were privileged to be in her class. Charles
