Louis Joseph Stasaski
1920-2001
Our hearts are saddened as we lost Mr. Stasaski on
August 8, 2001. Mr. Stasaski and his wife Martha were residents of Nashville, TN
Mr. Stasaski was born May 20, 1920 in Iron River, Michigan where he attended
Central Michigan University and earned a bachelor degree. He was a World
War II veteran, an active member of the Kappa Mu Epsilon fraternity and was
listed in "Who's Who" in American Colleges. Mr. Stasaski went on to further
his education in Nashville at Peabody College where he earned his Masters
degree in Mathematics. He was on the Tennessee Teachers Credit Union Board
of Directors for 35 years and retired as a teacher from the Metro Public School
system after 36 years. Mr. Stasaski left Howard High School in 1969 when it
closed.
Like many others who taught us, Mr. Stasaski instilled knowledge in us that
still lives in our minds today, and for all of us who knew him, he will always live in our
hearts.
Funeral Mass was held on Saturday August 11,
2001. Mr. Stasaski was laid to rest at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
